Mount James Walker

Mount James Walker is a Kananaskis gem with its untouched approach valley, respectable summit elevation (at 3,035m) and tarns with green tinted mini-icebergs.

As we get closer to the summit, Grizzly Peak and the Opal Range reveal themselves

A panorama looking south towards our ascent gully and Mount Inflexible. Fischer Peak, Opal Ridge, Grizzly Peak, Mount Packenham, Mount Hood, Kings Creek Ridge, Elpoca Mountain, and Mount Joffre are all visible in the distance.
